Sofia Correia de Barros joined Diaverum Portugal in December 2020. She has more than 10 years working in healthcare both in Portugal as in the UK.
Before joining Diaverum, Sofia was a Board Member and Corporate Director for leading Portuguese companies in hospitality, Pestana Hotel Group, and private provider, CUF.
Sofia is a mother of three girls, a marathoner by passion and a strategist and planner by conviction and experience.
With a degree in Applied Mathematics to Economics and Management from ISEG (1998), Sofia started her career in banking as portfolio manager. In 2002, she took on a full-time MBA at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She then joined McKinsey & Company, where she learned the importance of structure and deepened her knowledge in operational efficiency and healthcare.
